Maybe you are frustrated or just venting. I hope this is just a moment of frustration, a joke, because if not, it is a sad story of a talented individual losing its way.
OS is not just a bunch of GitHub code for people to grab. Can you deny the OS community has supported and nurtured your growth? OS is built on trust, collaboration, and a shared belief in something greater than ourselves. You are saying that your contributions were merely a click&bait strategy for personal gain? Wow. I do not buy that.
In a world where truth seekers struggle against powers that seek to control and enslave us, OS is a source of hope. It is an arrow pointing to what we can achieve when we work together against the power grabbers. I imagine that you will be leaving behind Linux, Git, C, Python, JavaScript, even DeepSeek, the tools you have likely used and benefited from. They exist because people chose to give, not just take.
You declare that you will never again contribute while still reaping the rewards of others generosity, hypocritical? If you are truly committed to this path, I assume you’ll never use OS software again, as it would be against your logic. But we both know that is not the case.
I say this not out of anger, but out of sadness, it is like watching a child stray from the path they once walked with pride. If this is the outcome, I regret ever talking to you, if this is the lesson you have taken from it. Your influence could have been a force for good, a light in these crazy times. Open source is not just about code, it is about the values, love, truth, and a collective fight for freedom. Being worthy of respect.
Remember why you started this journey in the first place. Was it truly just for coins and followers? Have you ever read anything about any OS legend, like Linus Torvalds, Richard Stallman or Yukihiro Matsumoto?
The reality we inhabit is about to change, I know you know that. An irreversible shift to a new world we could not have imagined a few years ago. Are we going to Utopia or Hell?
Fin.
